PinoyFoodFinder

A discovery platform dedicated to Filipino cuisine across the United States, helping users find restaurants, bakeries, food trucks, and grocery stores by searching for specific dishes, not just locations.
The Challenge
Filipino food lovers across the U.S. had no centralized way to discover authentic Filipino cuisine near them. Existing restaurant directories treated Filipino food as a subcategory, making it difficult to search by specific dishes like sisig, lechon, or halo-halo. The community needed a dedicated platform that celebrated the culture and made discovery effortless.
Our Approach
We built a purpose-driven directory covering 1,500+ establishments across 48 states with a dish-first search approach, letting users find food by what they're craving, not just where they are. The platform features a points-based rewards system ("Pinoy Points") for reviews and photos, business listing tools for vendors, and multiple browse categories spanning restaurants, fast food, food trucks, catering, and bakeries. The visual identity draws from Filipino heritage with flag-inspired accent colors.
